What is a lifestyle session? I get this question a lot. Lifestyle sessions take place in your home and focus on the connection between baby and family. Rather than using props and backdrops I instead capture candid un-posed moments in the baby’s natural environment. I am so happy we got a nice mix of awake shots and sleepy shots of baby Jack. Doesn’t he have the cutest nursery?!

I had such a nice time with baby Luca and his family in their Glenshaw, PA home. In-home newborn sessions are a great way to capture beautiful portraits of your baby while staying in the comfort of your home. I bring my studio to you! Props, hats/headbands, wraps, and my gear! Don’t worry about the size of your home, clutter, or natural light. I only need a small space to set-up and I bring my own lighting. It is helpful to have at least one couch or bed cleared off for family/sibling photos but other than that no other part of your house has to show unless you want it to. Here are a few of my favorite shots from Luca’s in-home newborn photo session.
