2 year-olds can be tough. (1) They don't take bribes.  (2) They have a mind of their OWN.  If they don't want to do something, they will not do it.   BUT this also makes their portrait sessions so much fun!  Because when they are smiling in a photo they are truly HAPPY!   I love these photos of Miss Cora because they are candid and natural. They capture her doing what shes loves- snuggling with mom, playing with dad, and exploring her big wonderful world. So sweet!  <3

Babies grow up so fast. Each stage being unique and special.  In the moment you think you will always remember each and every detail, but life moves so fast and these memories fade away. This is just another reason why I love my job as photographer. Photos freeze time and help us remember the "little" things.  Like how fun it is to pick grass blades, clap your hands for the VERY first time, or sit on a really cool big girl chair.   Sweet sweet moments captured of a lovely little 9-month old <3

Mother's Day

I spend so much time behind the camera I often forget to get on the other side of it now and again.  I'm sure many moms out there can relate to this!    So for this mother's day I asked my husband to snap some pictures of me with my kiddos.  We went to one of my favorite locations to shoot at (Hartwood Acres) late afternoon, which many parents  know can be a challenging time with 2 little ones.    But.. my wonderful hubby still managed to get some sweet pictures that I will forever cherish.     So to all those moms out there- HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! You are AWESOME & BEAUTIFUL!    So take the time today to get some pictures with your kids. They will want to see pictures of the incredible women that raised them!   I promise you won't regret it!  

So thankful to call this amazing women my mom & happy to have this photo to look back on and smile!  Love you mom!
