Sunflower Field Family Session {kane pa sunflower field}

I crossed something off of my photography bucket list this weekend! I got to shoot in a sunflower field. The sunflowers were a little past their prime but still lovely. Not only did I grab some cool shots of my kiddos I also got on the other side of the camera thanks to my talented momma!
This field is located on Route 6 in Kane, PA. Kane is located about 2.5 hours North East of Pittsburgh. Worth the drive! I will definitely be making another trip next year, just perhaps a bit earlier in the summer to catch the sunflowers at their peak.
P.S. My kids (3.5 years & 20 months) are my life. I LOVE them to pieces! BUT they were not super cooperative during this shoot (especially my 20-month old). So I get it! Really most young kids do not "cooperate" for photos but I have my tricks! ;-) This age doesn't want to sit still/pose/smile on command but they do like to play/explore/and laugh. I distracted my tired/hungry little girl with looking at a bee that just landed on a sunflower. My son loves to play the spin game which is basically just holding him facing me and spinning around in a circle on the count of 3. So that being said.... look at these photos with that in mind. Yes we captured true smiles and genuine joy BUT this is just a small glimpse of the whole "beautifully chaotic" true life picture. :-)
