For example, if mom is wearing a cream-colored sweater, you might opt for soft pastels or neutral tones for the rest of the family's attire.

Comfort is key. Opt for outfits that allow for easy movement and won't cause any discomfort during the session. And don’t worry about what to put your newborn in. I recommend wrapping the baby. This not only keeps the baby comfortable but also allows me to pose them more easily. Don’t worry too much about footwear. Adult’s shoes won’t show in the photos. Depending on the pose, children’s shoes may but we can always take their shoes off.
